Our support staff Amanda joined us as Head Receptionist following a few years working in a referral hospital. She has a passion for animals and grew up with many as her mum ran a rescue centre. The home had many animals including horses, donkeys, cats, and dogs. Kerry joined the practice in 2017. She has previously worked at a kennels and has 2 dogs of her own. Kerry enjoys horse riding, taking the dogs for long walks and spending time with her family. Kerry has an interest in Animal Behaviour and puppy classes. Christine returned to work for us as a receptionist in December 2014. Christine loves sighthounds and owns 2 rescued lurchers (Meg and Poppy) who all enjoy long walks. When not working or dog walking Christine enjoys wild swimming in rivers and lakes. If it’s too cold for outdoor swimming Christine can be found enjoying films, plays and ballet in the theatre or cinema. Sophie has been a veterinary receptionist for 8 years in both small animal and referral practices. She joined the team in October 2017, having moved back into the local area. Sophie has worked at the practice before so may be a familiar face to some of you. Outside of work she is kept busy by her 4 crazy working cocker spaniels and enjoys travelling the world. Jenny joined us in November 2018 after moving into the area. She has previously worked in veterinary and has an animal management diploma. As well as her diploma she has also volunteered at Marwell zoo. Outside of work she has a dog called Rolo who is a Collie X Springer that she loves taking on long walks to burn off all his energy. Nicola joined us in December as maternity cover on reception. She has previous animal experience working in a Veterinary practice and within Kennels. Nicola enjoys horse riding and walks with her dog Molly and cuddles with her cat Gingey. She has also recently become a grandmother to her 3rd grandchild.
